I am a lifelong Southeast Texas resident and love serving our local community. I am a Lamar University Alumni receiving my Bachelors in Business Marketing in 2009. I have always known I wanted to own my own business locally and in 2020, I proudly opened the doors to the Lana Richards State Farm Agency in Beaumont.
In my spare time, you can find me spending time with my family. I have five amazing boys in our blended family - Caleb, Mason, Blake, Jonah and Wyatt with my husband, Jonithan. I'm not the only girl in our family though - we have two female dogs named Ruby and Bailey, a cat named Lulu, and a female snake named Loretta! I enjoy sitting by a fire, reading a good book, our church, volunteering with the Junior League of Beaumont, eating my way through our awesome local restaurants, attending community events and enjoying our local Little League and High School sporting events.
Our purpose is to serve the surrounding communities and towns around the Southeast Texas/ Southwest Louisiana area; Beaumont, Vidor, Mauriceville, Buna, Orange, Bridge City, Port Arthur, Groves, Port Neches, Nederland, Lumberton, Silsbee, Kountze, Sour Lake, Winnie, Vinton, Sulphur, Lake Charles and throughout our great states of Texas and Louisiana.

What's Going on Around Beaumont and the Lana Richards State Farm Agency this April?
April 5: National Deep-Dish Pizza Day! This day gives pizza lovers a day to celebrate one of America’s favorite varieties of pizza.
April 7: National Girl, Me Too Day! This day recognizes the strength and endurance of women of all ages and is an opportunity to show support for each other.
April 8: The Total Solar Eclipse will be taking place. Be sure to have your glasses ready and watch this amazing event at the Village Creek State Park, Event Centre, or Collier’s Ferry. We will have glasses available for free at our office - Come grab a pair!
April 9: Happy Birthday to our customer service representative Alicia Juarez!
April 10: National Siblings Day! This day honors our brothers and sisters.
April 13: There will be a Teen Watercolor workshop at Tasi. This is a 3-hour beginner class being held from 10 am -1 pm. Bring your artistic teens from 13 and up to this wonderful event.
April 17: National Crawfish Day! This day celebrates one of the South’s most iconic foods. So, go on out and enjoy an amazing crawfish boil!
April 17: Our office is closing early at 3:30 for a Team Meeting.
April 19-20: The first annual SETX Blueberry Festival will be held at the Creekwood Farms in Vidor from 9 am-6pm. You will be able to pick your own blueberries, enjoy the pony rides, hayrides, sand mountain & petting zoo. Along with the many vendors and food trucks. There will also be antique tractors, photo ops, live music, a blood drive and a 5k run.
April 24: National Administrative Professional Day! This day recognizes the professionals who keep an office running smoothly every day.
April 28: Pour 09 will be hosting the SETX Crawfish festival 2024. From 11 am -6pm you will be able to sample 7 different crawfish vendors, live music, and soak up the lively atmosphere.
April 28: The DBCAD will also be hosting the Spring Arts Festival at the same time. This event features an art competition, vendors, and live music. This event offers a platform for artists to showcase their work and for attendees to discover and support the local creative community.
